can you help? and all about opal…..


i need help naming this newest piece—-for some reason, all the names i have come up with have fallen short. purple passion? pansy?

it is a beautiful piece made from lapis, large and small amethyst nuggets, spiky opals, blue, peacock green and purple pearls, and opaline and czech glass with a sterling clasp. it is suspended from a silver chain which will be woven with a gorgeous variegated silk ribbon-(waiting for a delivery).

i love opals for their beautiful iridescent colors and adaptability….they  shine seductively next to other stones and enhance their colors, as it says below, opals are  absorbent and reflective. more on this fabulous stone:
